I hope you are having an enjoyable summer. Mine is going way to quickly! I can't believe it is almost July! Yesterday I went to PetsMart and adopted two adorable kittens. I have named them Smokey and Taffy. They are both females and are spayed. Are they ever a bundle of energy! My good news today is that I have lost 11 lbs. and feel great. I am almost over my bronchitis, but have given it to my husband now. I feel sorry for him, because I know how it feels! This is probably one of my shorter entries, but since it is getting late, I need to head to bed.

I hope you enjoy following my progress on my losing weight blog. I am feeling better with each day and have been able to keep the weight off thus far! I would encourage you to lose weight along with me. Together we can be a support for each other and with encouragement make the challenges more bearable! Continue to follow my progress and send me some encouraging words! I purchased a book from Barnes & Noble that has put a new light on weight loss. I saw Dr. Eric Braverman on the TV show "The Doctors" and was really impressed with what he said, so I purchased his book entitled "Younger, Thinner You Diet". He states that in order to lose weight you need to have the brain balanced with 4 critical brain chemicals - dopamine, acetylcholine, GABA and serotonin. Every process in your body - including weight gain, disease, and aging - is governed by your brain's electricity. The 4 critical brain chemicals named above insure that this electricity is transferred to the body in the right power, speed, rhythm and synchrony. If you are deficient in any of these chemicals, your brain will create specific food cravings which not only leads to weight gain and ill health, but further ages your brain chemistry. He includes a test which allows you find out which brain chemical you are low in and then how to eat the correct foods to bring that brain chemical back up to par. If you get a chance to read the book, it is very interesting and easy to read.

Here it is June already. Before we know it the summer will be over. I hope each one of you enjoyed the beautiful flowers that always burst forth in the spring. I love the springtime. Not only do you get beautiful flowers, but spring is alive with baby animals! They are so cute and fascinating to watch. It always gives me a new burst of energy! I know you are all wanting to know how I have been doing with my weight. Well the results are good. I have lost 9 lbs. so far. Part of that was due to getting bronchitis and not eating, but the real trick will be to see if I can keep it off! Summer should be a good time to get plenty of exercise and eat lots of good fruits and vegetables. All in all I am in good spirits over the results so far. I hope each one of you are feeling good about yourself also.

My how the time flies! I can't believe that May is just about over! But I am happy for the great weather we have been having! The weight loss is slow in coming, but at least I am maintaining and not gaining back any weight. I have to be honest though, I'm not real good at consistently using the product. When I do use the product I lose some weight, but then I get lazy and feel that I can do it without the product. Then I start maintaining the lost weight. I'm excited that the company I am a distributor for is now launching the product in Canada. I would love to have a business partner from Canada. If any of you know someone in Canada that is interested in starting up their own business - please give them my email address and have them contact me.

Well I am finally feeling like a human being again. I had quite a round with a painful tooth and respiratory problems. The tooth is now feeling normal and I'm almost over the respiratory problems. I have lost a total of 7 pounds since the first part of March. I am really impressed with the fact that I can still eat normal food and not gain weight, but lose weight!!! Yippee!! I haven't done any measuring, but I do feel thinner in the belly and upper legs, so that is important to me. I'm one of those people that have to get on the bathroom scales every morning to see if another pound has come off!! I love the feeling I get when I look at the scales and it is less than the day before! As far as the business end of things, I have signed up 3 people and earned $75 just for signing them up. I haven't started receiving commission checks for the percentage that I receive when they place an order. I hope you enjoy watching my progress. I will work diligently to keep this blog page updated.

UPDATE

Well, I have to apologize for not keeping up with my blog. Too many things have been happening in my life and I got behind and didn't keep things updated. I have basically not kept up with my new program mainly because of health reasons. I had a severe tooth ache. I put up with it for about a week then went to the dentist. He proceeded to put me on an antibiotic before he would do anything. Either I was allergic to the antibiotic or I picked up a bug while in the dentist's office. I started having a lot of phlegm being coughed up from my lungs and throat. I still have a problem with it even though I went off the antibiotic. I can feel that I am improving though. Then came vacation time! We all love vacations, but they don't do much for losing weight! I have done really well though all things considered. I have lost a total of 5 pounds and have kept it off. Vacation is over now and I can get back to my regular routine. I'm wondering if anyone is even watching my progress. I haven't had any comments made. I'm thinking I might discontinue the blog if no one is taking any interest in my progress. So if you are watching, be sure to let me know and I will continue with my blog.

Week 2

Tomorrow, Thursday, will be the one week mark of when I started taking the product that I am using to help me lose weight. I have taken it faithfully each day, but have been very lax in doing my exercises each morning. My granddaughter had a birthday this week and so the celebration was at Gerties Pizza. But so goes life!!!
I know you are all wanting to know if I have lost any weight or not over the last week and the answer is YES! I lost 3 lbs. I was worried about the pizza and lack of exercise, but even though I lost the weight, I still want to keep up the morning exercise program. I feel so good after I am through exercising that I don't want to give up that great feeling to start off each day!
I haven't heard from some of you that wanted to lose weight with me. I won't post your name online, but will post the weight loss. Well, I'm really anxious to see what the results will be next week, but until then "I bid thee farewell!"
